Let’s Talk Turkey or Tri Tip instead
Thanksgiving came upon us quickly and due to technical issues, I was unable to post any turkey recipes prior to the big day. I then got to thinking…. there are so many turkey recipes, who needs another? You can brine, or not brine. Smoke or not smoke. Deep fry or roast. Personally I like to brine mine and I use a basic 6 ingredient recipe for my bird. Stuff with slices of lemon, onion and herbs (usually rosemary and sage), rub with butter under the skin and pour melted butter on the outside, salt and pepper and roast away at 350F till done. Simple, moist and delicious. Uncomplicated. I did notice that many folks are now stepping away from the turkey on thanksgiving and Christmas so today I’m sharing my recipe for Beef Tri-tip. It’s also uncomplicated and delicious.
